What We Offer Our Members
Training
We offer our members world class judge and referee certification courses.
We offer mixed martial arts training in a variety of styles and the opportunity to teach what you know at moderately priced seminars. We are all volunteers so costs are kept at a
minimum.
We also offer inter martial arts competitions and tournaments that can be judged by our experienced members of varied martial arts backgrounds. Most have been involved with martial arts in Australia
since its earliest
beginnings.
We will soon be releasing details of a new concept in martial arts competition that will keep your students interested in training.
The participants in all of these tournaments and competition events will receive world rankings through WOMA.
Gradings/Rankings
Because our members are autonomous, the clubs/associations set there own standard within their style, as to what is needed for the grade/rank but we like to have a person perform in many
different areas such as teaching, participation in A.M.A.A. training days, competition etc..
It would not be unusual for members of the committee to attend training nights to view teaching and occasionally request your teaching expertise at our seminars.
We need to know what you can do before we grade you! An analogy of this is, if one of your students didn't attend
training all year but still expected to be graded/ranked on their performance at the grading/ranking.
The easiest way is to be pro-active in the A.M.A.A. so you become known to the grading/ranking panel, this can be done by volunteering for the Management Committee, Sub-Committee or being active in
association events.
